Verified slide is in correct Veriied the slide is in correct but I don’t think cable is pulling and retracting correctly. Tried several cable adjustments via nuts on throttle cable but still running all out. Can I remove throttle grip from handle bar and just work throttle cable with pliers?

Thanks for the replies. I found the correct wiring diagram and verified wiring was OK. Found a problem with the condenser. Corrected that and now have spark!!! Running but not well yet. Engine wants t run at full throttle. On to the throttle cable and carb.

I have a 1981 CT 70 that has no spark. This was running 5 years ago prior to me deciding to break it down and refurb. It is now back together but no spark. I did not do any engine work to it. Thinking maybe mess of wiring behind headlight might be incorrect. Can not find a wiring diagram that...

I think I should've of taken more pictures and payed closer attention to detail when I pulled this apart 5 + years ago. Didn't plan on dragging it out sooo long.

Great advice...I figured I needed a way to insert something into the fork to keep inner piece from spinning, just didn't know what to use. I like the idea of post#60 with the threaded rod, may try the dowel first. Nothing seems to come easy with this project!!!

I'm in the process of restoring an 81' and the steering stop has been broken off. I could use a close up photo of one and some measurements. Open to all suggestions, at a stand still for frame painting until I can get this welded on.

My first restoration project 1981 Ct70. I need help trying to locate the headlight trim ring. I also not sure what to do with the speedometer, it is in near perfect condition aside from a dent in the chrome trim ring. Looking for suggestions. Thanks, Mark
