General Battery thoughts

i need to replace my battery. They last 2 years max. The battery I have used in the past is an ES4LBS. It is a 12v 3Ah battery. No real complaints except when it quits most of my electronics and lights go haywire. I’m looking for a better option. Batteries plus has a direct fit that has 5Ah but it’s $50. Vs $25 that I pay for the 3Ah I have used. Another thought is the battery that my garage door uses for backup in case of a power failure. I can fit it in the battery holder and close the seat. There is still room left over between the top of the battery and bottom of the seat. These come in 5Ah flavor and are under $20. Does anyone know a little more than I do about picking athe best battery for my application?

The battery on the RH side of your pic...I've been using a similar unit (12v/5.0ah), since going to 12v in 2004. Only had to replace one, so far. It lasted like a dozen years, never did anything to help it, other than climate-controlled storage.

I’m going to give the battery on the right a go. What battery holder works best. The 12v holder doesn’t seem like the best choice. Is there a 6v holder that works better?
