At 265lbs, it's a pig. But, what it lacks in nimbleness it probably gains in road stability. ~400lbs of combined bike & rider doesn't get buffeted around by crosswinds. 4.3" of fork travel is impressive, enough to deliver the goods in terms of ride quality...and offroad capability. Someday, that fork & disc brake will be an incredible basis for a custom CT70 front end and at a reasonable price...give it 3-5 years. That exhaust reminds me of a CT70 K1; with a little headpipe surgery I bet it'd fit and flow well enough to support some real hp. If there's one thing that might hurt this model, in the marketplace, it's the step-through design. IMO, it looks like a girl's bicycle and I think that's what kept the CT90/110 from having the kind of broad appeal of the 50s & 70s. Kind of a shame, really, those were very good, bulletproof, machines...and I'd bet that this latest iteration is superior to those. As for the pricing, it's more accurately a matter of how little our money is worth, compared to decades ago.
