I was cleaning my 1986 Z50R carb and now can't find the pin that hold the float. Maybe someone here could help me out. I can buy the whole float set for around $30 but was hoping to spend less. I have Paypal. Thanks, Dave

It looks like a protective cover, maybe sticky backed, black krinkle finish. I will get a picture ASAP.

The tank color is called Special Silver Metallic. I had a black battery box and found a close match for the red in a Duplicolor spray can that I bought at a local parts store. I am happy with the result! I agree with keeping things as original as possible. My tank had been hit on both sides...

Looks like you got yourself a nice looking CL 70. Did you find it in Vermont? The gas tank from the one I got in N.H. is almost done at the body shop. Just need the battery cover emblem to make it complete.

I am looking for the battery box emblem for a 1972 CL70 K3. I would even consider a frame emblem and mount in on my battery box. I know this is a long shot! Thanks, Skipjaz
