12V CT70 Wiring Question

So, I pulled the Nice engine out of my '94, have a stock motor to put back in. Previous owner did a little splicing into the original harness, which was no big deal to correct back to stock. My only confusion lies in that I have one clipped wire that runs to the CDI box, and am not positive that it should run to an empty plug I still have. The black/white wire is the one I'm referring to. I looked at a wiring diagram, but it wasn't entirely clear to me. See the picture below...clipped black/white wire, and the open bullet nose connector still left. Can anyone confirm that these should be connected?

In my experience the black/white is the kill wire that when grounded kills the engine.

Yep, I think you're correct. I unwrapped the harness further down and the quick connect plug was on the black/white wire. I removed the connector and used a butt connector, all is good now.
