Not sure if that was a joke, but this is a timely topic - I thought buddy pegs were not OEM (they don't show in parts fiche) and the battery cover was plastic? EDIT: racerx educated me on the rubber cover.

That's my thought as well, he doesn't really want to sell it and I wouldn't either. One thing that bugs me is for that price you'd surely expect a title and he won't or hasn't put the time in to get it, should be easy since his family is the original owner.
