You might want to add Mini Trail and Trail 70 to your title line. Right now you only get hits on CT70.

Good luck OLD CT.
You may also want to add something about your experience at building these engines. IMO that's important for the buyer to know. ie...

"Having built numerous motorbike engines in the past, I assembled this engine with a new clutch, rebuilt head, new valves and a 88cc kit. It only has a handful of miles on it."

I didn't want to mention I have 40 years experience with these bikes. It's not a side job buying low on CL and selling high on fleabay for me. Don't want to toot my own horn, :34:
This was built to be dependable, not a flip. I figured the person will get that
experience when they see all my bikes in person. This thing will most likely hit 50mph when it's broken in.

Adam, maybe you could send him a nice segue question that he can post with the answer. :4:

Sometinng like: "It looks like you did a nice job putting this bike together. The disc front brake is a great improvement too. But how do I know that the engine was built properly? Did you build it yourself??"

lol Knowing Old CT, he may suggest I stick my fist in my:censored:. lol:21:

Just kiddin, I know what you mean but he makes a good point that when they see it in person, they'll know he's a motorbike builder. But my point is they may not think to look if they think it's an ameture job.

Just wanted to list it honestly, I didn't have to split the cases on this. Although it would be REAL easy with the factory 8mm case bolts. LOL! No worries about seized or stripping or beating on the screw heads with a impact driver! The only thing this bike needs is to take it apart in the off season, blast and paint the frame and swinger and front rim. I put and reconditioned ''fresh painted''older rim on. 82's have date coded rims and I still have the rear in great shape ''off the bike'' just needs to be blasted/painted again. I would give the new owner all the old parts like the front end and factory speedo set up. And all the painted black parts.

Very, very nice collection. Are close ups posted anywhere on the site? Bikes restored to this quality make me want to print them on a magnet and stick on the fridge....to remind me of what can be achieved. Also purely for selfish reasons, I sometimes use pics as resource material of how things should be mounted or routed.

Pat has a keen eye for fine details like routing. Post some photos and he'll set you straight. He's also not a half bad engine builder (those that know him best will get a chuckle). He came to my rescue some time ago, to straighten out a few items I had gotten professionally rebuilt. If I ever get around to building another, he'll be the guy.
