Another New Honda Mini Moto We Won't Be Getting

Honda just came out with a new bike for the Chinese market. It's called the CC110 and it's kind of a cross between the CT125 and the Super Cub. I like it because it looks more like the old CT90 than either of the new bikes.

Man, you got a lot of bikes! Here in California, minimum cost for a year's registration is $157 and insurance is required for every one. I think it's more likely that Honda contracted a company in China to make them of which the government gets their cut. Our shores are already littered with clones of Groms, Ruckus', CT70's, Cubs, and scooters. Cheaply made and you get what you pay for.

I want one because cost of insurance in my province for motorcycles under 110cc is half of cost for larger motors. But I am pretty happy with the old ones, too.

$157 you guys get hosed by your states, up here we pay for small bikes about $30 licence fee(registration) and another $300 for full annual liability/collusion/comprehensive insurance (not collector vehicle rated which is still cheaper).

Registration for my '22 Monkey costs more than my '72 Corvette. Insurance for my Monkey is about $150 a year and about $300 a year for my '89 Harley FLH. We get hosed pretty good here in Cali and don't get me started on $4.60 for a gallon of gas or 60 cents a kwh for electricity.

So I paid 12 cents Canadian(9cents US) per kWh total on the last two month bill for our clean hydro electricity but we’ve got you beat in the fuel department at about $5.35US per gallon.

I'd be interested in what your other hobbies might be, I also have many varied interests.
Been busy the last couple weekends getting the motorhome ready for the summer travels. Coin collecting, remote control aircraft, and teaching four grandkids how to ride these little mini bikes. And I always have a few snow blowers and riding lawn mowers at the neighbors want me to tune up... pays for my weekend beverages which I'm also fond of sampling as many as I can from the local liquor store. Seems there's never enough time in the day. I pretty much stopped collecting more of these little motorcycles now, unless of course it's something that's really simple and I can make a quick few $$$ just by cleaning the carburetor or something . Hopefully be done with them in the next few years and I can just enjoy watching TV and sipping on some Crown Royal... I would like to transfer to overhauling a 1950s classic pickup truck but I got a few motorcycles to get rid of first don't have any more room in the garage Workshop..haha

Good for you, us old guys gotta keep busy or the years will catch up to us. I only have 7 bikes, but I try to ride 50-75 miles a week, rotating through them. Don't really want any more projects, unless I can find a cheap CT70 or a Grom clone roller I can stuff a 250 in.

Yeah got to run the motor home to the repair shop, can't get the generator to start start, starter solenoid went out or something, but it's buried deep and weighs about 400 pounds to remove from the coach so at 69 I'm just going to have to pass that job off to the professionals .lol
