CT70 K0 wiring diagram

Hey guys,

I had a general question I was curious about if anyone has dissected a K0 wiring harness.

I'm looking at multiple wiring diagrams and they all make it look like the horn and brake light should work with the key in the off position.

My bike doesnt have power to horn or brake light. Just trying to understand the diagram.

The brake light and horn on my K0 (I've owned it for 54 years) does not operate with the key off. In the key off position there is no power from the battery.

I do not have a diagram in front of me, but I know for sure you will not have power to the horn or brake light with key in the off position.

The negative on the battery is only grounded to the frame in on position. So everything runs back to the negative through the frame. That's why nothing works when off.

Weird design
