So I decided to get my 79' Trail bike out & commit to a bigger engine install for this season. That's the less expensive solution to the 91' 72cc dilemma. I was leary about making it a 108cc, it's better off staying stock, it only has 275 orig miles. All i pretty much need is the new engine and new battery. I do have to borrow the fork ear set from my other stock 79' ct70 but thats all, I have the rest of the bike... So now working on this frame , i ordered decals and they are not even close to the OEM Honda!:X3: Luckily I kept the inner decal from this 79' Phoenix AZ bike because this CT70's stock decal is a two piece! The outside part is what usually gets ripped up and falls off. See if you can spot the differences. 1. Its just a one piece decal, not a two piece, like OEM Honda. 2. The color is wrong. that one is yellow, stock color of the bike is~ school-bus yellow. 3. The Freaking letters are smaller than the stock ones! 4. There is not supposed to be a yellow boarder around the annotation its supposed to be black!!. I know an outfit that can easily match the old stock Honda annotation letters /decal part. The outer surrounding part with the three colors I will be leaving off. Anyway, what a hack job!:poop:
