Piece O' junk, no increase in HP just weight..They hang ''low'' and now you have less real estate on both sides! :nono:

Primarily, an appearance item...maybe a different exhaust tone. Some guys like low-mount exhausts. I've never been a fan for the reasons Pat mentioned.

If you want a top-quality, JDM, pipe that flows and has a mellow sound, go for the Yoshimura Tri-oval. Be aware, even at the current favorable USD:JPY exchange rate it'll still set you back around $6C...and the muffler is so large that it makes a CT70 look like it's trying to give birth to a watermelon(!):34:

As long as the muffler isn't a restriction, there's really no power lurking in a larger exhaust unless your engine is making north of 18-20hp. Even then, it takes big displacement (bigger than anything possible using 49cc cases) to overcome the loss of scavenging efficiency at low-mid revs, and avoid lean stumbles/soggy low rpm response.

Another good one is well, on my bike! 3 bills, top quality stainless steel It's called the ''Takegawa D style''. Made in Japan and certified quiet enough for their noise requirements.
You have to ''look hard'' to notice it isn't the stocker as it uses the stock shield.. Quiet mellow sound.
