ct70h 4spd mitsubishi flywheel + dratv's stator = does it work?

hey guys before i blow off $89 on a new stator assembly from dratv for a ct70hk01 (4spd) with a mitsubishi stator has anyone done this on their ct70h and has worked/ given spark? i also have new parts on bike like ignition coil, spark plug, gas lines etc.
the reason im posting is because i bought a stator kit from ebay
put it on the plate didnt fit customized the plate and still didnt work. so im gonna save my self from 98 degree summer heat in florida and in my garage with hopefully what will be the solution to my problem. any comments will help guys. thanks, michael

Why not do a CDI upgrade?
Once you get the CDI stator, all you need is the little CDI box, a battery, and an afternoon to run up a wiring harness

was actually thinking about that but most of the stator assemblies are usually with electric start the ct70h is a kickstart only and im honestly affraid of doing a wire plumbling job on a wire harness and might mess up and cause more damage. im tring to keep this bike to close to original as possible.but ill think about it though.

CDI in 6V CT70

Adding a 12V CDI motor to a 6V bike is easy and requires absolutely no splicing of the factory harness.

My headlight is now full brightness at idle and I didn't have to mess around with sourcing a 12V battery that fits or making a battery box. You just need a solid state reg/rect and some connectors/terminals from DrATV.
Actually; does anyone even make a CDI system for the 4spd crankshaft taper?
