The flange says 88B right? I searched for that and didn't find anything. Believe Honda/keihin started the recessed nut to attach carb to flange in the 90s so its probably that or newer. I wonder if it sized correctly for a 90cc engine or if its off a 70cc. Often the brass parts/jets can be cleaned and reused inside a carb. The rubber parts are probably whats bad is probably interchangeable with many other carbs, even china ones.

88B D OB21 is what is stamped on the flange. Pics are matching up to a 78/79 carb. Hoping that's it as I ordered a rebuild kit for it

78/79 what model? Its not ct70 as those were 36a and 37B on the flange numbers and didn't have the recessed mount nuts, the flange its self was threaded.

I ended up buying a keyster kit that was 85 percent complete to get all new seals. Jets were clogged as could be, installed inline fuel filters. Some of the keyster kit wasn't usable as it was different so there must be two versions of this carb. See attached.

Does anyone know the purpose of the rubber cap pictured near the throttle cable? It is a nipple that pours gasoline if removed...not understanding it's use.
I leak fuel when on side stand and am looking for clues.
