So I just bought this 1974 XL100 SpeedO. Has 1400 miles and paid $26.99. It comes w/cable and is off the bike shown. I bought it b/c I have a build in mind when i pay off all my CC'ds. hint: like a 150cc on a 79' Trail:19:

Heads up Jesse aka Hrc200X. This is the same guy from Vegas you asked about. This guy would only budge 10% off the price and still charged me full ship price & state TAX!:p:13:

He's a power seller and not real negotiable either; but I still like this speedO.

Not so sure how accurate it will be on 10 inchers,as that bike has some big wheels :39: And that's a big ass speedo, compared to a k1 and up style.

Yep, i remember having this discussion with racerX and if i recall correctly, those were the instruments on his snag list that did work on a CT70 but with a little bit of re-tweak calculation when you rode it.

I know where there is a neighborhood that has a permanent
'Your speed Is:" sign that shows your speed as you pass. People go too fast and it's there to remind them that 25 is the limit.
i'll use it to do the re-calculation once and if I decide to use it.

How did you get him to come to a price? Did he counter offer or did you give him the magical number right away? Very difficult seller to deal with, not good communication. At least you got the part you were looking for.

They had a or best offer; the first one was rejected the second he counter offered & came down a whopping 10%, big deal.

I think it's more of a bunch of people doing the selling and not just one guy. If you look at all the items up for sale 8,251, it leaves little doubt there are lot's of peeps working at this and 10% is prob all the y come down to. Because he's in town, I had to pay state tax too.:30:
