Extra warm today - able to do some Spring cleaning - late storage prep - tear down of my lawn vac that threw a rod this fall. All the neighbors are out today - I’m the only one with a garage of project bikes

This time of year, springlike warmth usually carries a price...wind-driven storms and "dramatic" transitions.The temp here has dropped almost 15 degrees in the past 4-5 hours and it looks like we've already gotten most of that ~3" of rainfall predicted. Supposed to drop into the teens...following the ice storm & snowfall.

Close up of the blown engine case from the yard vac. Parked it on a slight incline while I used the available hose. I think the oil must have also been a little low and you see the result

New motor. Had to get to the shaft to make sure I ordered the right replacement. Going to go with a slightly larger engine and their ProSeries

Hi scooter I’m from ri we had warm weather also 62 degrees in providence. Started bike a took it for a short ride had to worry about the salt on the road. Love your garage.
