I was wondering about adding an inline fuel filter to my CT. What are your thoughts?

I have fuel filters on my Metal tanked bikes. But my bikes with plastic tanks I do not. I think it can save a lot time and trouble.

I understand the idea of wearing a belt and suspenders, but the original carbs are already equipped with an easy to clean filter screen on the right hand side. If you do go for a filter, in reality you need two, one for each line. And a 4mm filter might be tough to source so 3/16" is probably a good bet.

Actually I was debating on keeping my beloved CT. It runs great & I will miss her. I sold her this evening for my asking price. Time for a new project. Which I will post a thread in the coming weeks.:eyebrows:

If you want a project bike ,let me know ,I want to thin the herd a little and I do go to your area pretty often with things .I do not have a ruckus at this time though but I have a few neat Honda scooter projects ,and a bunch of mini trails as well .
