Getting a CT110 Carb on an ST90

My original post should answer that question for you.
That's fine I'll pass have a good day. I was going to make a simple suggestion to go up two jet sizes on the original carburetor instead of going through this nut roll but get out your hair dryer get out your masking tape get out your duct tape you go ahead and have fun trying to fit this to that motor..

Guys like this are why I'm always hesitant to even try to offer advice or help..
Jeez, so being a busy guy and not working on my ST90 rebuild often enough makes me unworthy of your help? Didn't mean to offend you, I was just pointing out that the answer to your question was in my original post. I want the bigger carb to go with the big bore kit and performance camshaft I have already installed so that the performance benefits of those will not be wasted. Going up 2 jet sizes in the original carb would achieve the same results as installing the CT110 carb?

No, it would have had much better results cuz you'd already be back on the road. Have fun. I'd answer your question and give you some more advice but I'm a busy guy and have things to do.

Wow! I guess I pissed him off. Does anyone else think going up 2 jet sizes in the original carb and forgetting about this CT110 carb is a good idea?

What's the main jet size on your stock ST90 carburetor, what's the main jet size on a stock CT110 carburetor? And I know in your search for a intake boot you've also increased the diameter of your stock air cleaner to carb outlet.

Actually, he was griping abut my query as I'm actually helpful and try to go back and see if the O.P. ever got things sorted out .

Jetting is a tricky thing and easy to screw up .

In general going up a size or two to help with a bigger bore, more aggressive cam etc. is an okay thing to do but at this point it's important to know the venturi and intake sizes because that all plays into how well it'll work with the different main jet .

Remember too that Honda always designs a tuned intake track so just swapping jets and then test riding it sans the riuuber boot isn't going to work well, ever .

Hell, I'm busy too (have the drive line out and apart on a Vintage VW) but the entire point of this forum is to share knowledge and be helpful because knowledge not freely shared is worthless .

Anyways, I hope the O.P. gets this sorted out .

One jerkhoff here keeps banning me because I corrected a mistake he said, not the intention of the host I'm sure .

My issue was he thought his time was more important than my time and wanted me to go back to the beginning of this thread and refresh my memory.

Gotcha .

I had to do just that to remember because I'm all over the place trying to help out so the details are often forgotten by me .

FWIW, I've stretched those narrow round opening intake boots to fit more than once .

The original Japanese ones will stretch a massive amount if you're strong enough .

So far I've never split a Chinesium boot, some simply can't be forced .

Main jet on ST90 carb is #75. Main jet on CT110 carb is #72. Not sure what you mean about the air cleaner to carb outlet but I haven't modified the original airbox at all.

I may have found a solution. https://www.lectronfuelsystems.com/manifolds-intake-boots.html. these guys make custom intake boots. Now I just need to figure out how to give them the correct dimensions. I'm thinking if I can find another ST90 carb boot, I could send it to them and just ask them to make a replica with the round side the carb attaches too the correct size for the CT110 carb. I just don't want to send them the only ST90 boot I have, so now I'm on the lookout for another ST90 carb boot.
