Up for sale is my 1972 Model ('71 on the vin tag) HK1. 4 speed manual. Runs strong and starts first kick. Drips a small bit of oil from the oil drain bolt.

I have done alot of work on this bike. I got it in 2008 as a barn find and stripped it down to the frame. Built it up again, cleaning it as I went, replacing parts, etc. Original paint, chrome, all that good stuff. Wheels were repainted and put together with stainless hex cap hardware and new tires/tubes. Newer chain. New "offroad" headlight so you can change the bulbs. Original luggage rack. No rips in the seat, no cracks in seat pan. The battery was replaced in '09 and I think its coming to the end of its life.

I did an 88cc big bore kit with a new piston and rings and a new Mikuni carburetor (aftermarket air cone, stainless steel pull-apart fuel filter). New throttle assembly so it springs back unlike the stock setup. New grips also.

There is an issue with the shift forks. It can be tricky to get from first gear into second or second into third.

Awesome bottom end power and pretty good speed. Pulls me nicely and im 6' and 210lbs.

Dont know exactly what I'm wanting for it yet... PM, Email, or text me with offers. May be open to trades too.
