how do i know what i have

Ok first time on and my first question is how do i look up the serial numbers for my bikes i have 3 i know one is a 1977 z50 had it for 24 years my uncle got it in at his junk yard and told my mom she could have it since then i got a yellow one and also one with a black frame no other body parts.

Can you post pictures and/or the serial numbers from the frames and engines? If the black one is the original color, it is a 78...I think that yellow was a 79. (someone correct me if I am wrong). Pics and numbers would help.
