insurance costs

Hey, I was thinking about insuring my CT70 for some road riding. I know a lot of insurance depends on age, sex (if you haven't had any, you're considered "frustrated" and more likely to crash), and driving history, BUT...how much do you pay, and for how long do you insure it? I'm in Canada, and I know there's a few people here with bikes there that look like they're road riders, so...if it's not too personal a question, how much should I expect to shell out? My brother looked in to it a bit and said he was told it'd be around $400.00 + for the year.

im with progressive and i pay 55 for my monkey a year and actually they paid me to add the ZB. I had my DZR400SM and my monkey on the policy and when i asked about adding the ZB they said it would be around 48 a year to add the ZB but i would get a discount of 75 for adding a 3rd bike. So they sent me a check for adding the bike.

Insurance pricing doesn't travel well across international borders. Hell, there are big differences just between the 50 states, depending upon mandatory coverages. That said, I'm paying about $200 annually for my two bikes, with agreed value coverage, through Hagerty.
