alright here are the pics. the piston looks crappy but i could polish but its not a problem if i have to buy one. i also took the pics in the cyl. wall of these little craters. im thinkin that it might leak out air but im not quite sure.im replaccin the rings and gaskets for sure.im just iffy on the piston and cylinder block. any suggestions, thanks! mike btw srry the pics are crappy.

No chance to say anything meaningful with your picture's quality. At least there is cylinder rust to suspect.

I would get a new piston and rings and at least hone the cylinder. You have it all apart to this point so I would not cheap out now.

yep. That's what I did, took 0.5 mm off. Of course you will then have to buy oversize rings and pistons, depending on how much they take off. Like hondaman said, you will regret it if you cut corners at this point. The rings will never seat etc., and you will be back at square one. You can get probably get all this done for under $50.
