That's a pretty amazing claim from this VW euro van. I don't think the current administration is interested in those technologies. In order for Obamas new green technology businesses to be economically sustainable, gasoline would have to be north of six dollars per gallon and that's the direction this current administration is trying to go in.
Obama would like to see gasoline prices equivalent to Europe's gas prices, that way his wind and solar corporation would be economically viable and the environment people would be happy and would celebrate by eating a birch bark burger with tofu fries and soy milk.:4:

Does not surprise me one bit. It all comes down to money. If the powers at be can not make a fortune on something and stick it to the average Joe, it does not happen. Too much money to be made by raising oil prices compared to actually saving gas.

Several key points are missed in this video. The first being the fact that car doesn't meet emissions standards. With diesels moving towards UREA injection the problem only becomes worse. The second point is the cost of fuel those European cars run on. Many gas stations in Europe sell 97 or even 100 octane right at the pump. Many of these exotic technologically advanced cars require good, and expensive fuel to run. This is one reason European fuel is so expensive. Even if the car met the emissions standards you would not have a source to even fuel it in the US. It isn't a total conspiracy, but even then to a large degree we know big oil business is running the show
Obama doesn't pay for gas anymore, you pay for it. Why would he care how much it costs? And, the democrats don't lobby for big oil, that's the Republican side of your government doing that. If you think that your vote counts your dead wrong, it never will. Big Business has run this country for the last 150 years. A president is just a pawn controlled by big business and they always will be. There's no sense in debating any of this until this (great) country does away with the electoral college and actually counts the majority vote of it's people. Money talks!

Yep, give me a little credit; I do know that my single vote isn't gonna change the nation and I realize that big bushiness's vote will always veto mine but I'm still gonna vote as it's afforded to me under the US Constitution. :55:

That the courts decided elections can be purchased, and purchased from foreign entities if they decide to fund a political party. When a political party is funded by a corporation, the rest is history. In almost every case both parties are equally funded by corporate interest who later get a return on investment. These are not even limited to US corporations which makes the situation even worse. Your government can be funded by foreign entities and your president owned by foreign entities. And this is legal. The say of the American people is long gone
