I would recommend Bob @ Motor City Minitrails.I have heard nothing but good about his work.He does a thorough restoration including checking out all threaded holes. He also sends pics of the progress being done.Your choice, but i would get a couple of opinions but i don't think you'll be displeased with Bob's work.

motoenzo question

He sold me a carburetor for my 73 ct70. It came to me in about three days, he modified my manifold so the new carb would fit on it, he bead blast the manifold so it looks like brand new and he emailed me about seven times after receiving my money to check on my installation and to help with some problems I was having with the correct installation of the throttle assembly. I'm a mechanical rookie and this is my first ownership of a ct70. He emailed me pictures of the correct installation and incorrect installations. With his patience and complete understanding of the ct70 I had the bike back together and running around the yard. I would HIGHLY recommend you at least talk to him if your considering a rebuild. He was just great.

I would consider Bob from CT70honda.com and Jeff Tuttobene from minigunz.com to be the two best engine builders/restorers in the USA bar none.

Bob also does outstanding paint and body work.

I wouldn't even consider having anyone else outside of those two touch my bikes or engines.

On top of it, both are great people.

Bob has also done some work for me as well. He has restored (painted) wheels, hubs, kick stand, speedo resto, painted side covers, etc. He is a great communicator and his work has execeed all my expectations.

Enzo did the same for me. My carb was not working, even though it had been rebuilt by the guy from whom I purchased the bike. Enzo knew what the problem was immediately and sold me a permanent fix that has kept my bike running ever since. He is meticulous in his work and knows exactly what he is doing.

I highly recommend him.
