Hi. I'm new to this forum. Back in approx 1975, I had a ct70 k0 in Sapphire blue when I was 13 - I bought it for 80.00 dollars. Drove that thing everywhere; It was total freedom. So recently a friend was given 3 derelicts, and kindly gave me one of them. It looks like it was left out in the desert and scavenged. See attached image.
So, knowingly with little sense, I'm restoring this to its former glory. I'm keeping the original Ruby red. All stock except a piranha 140 engine will be added. I'll post as I complete sections of the bike.
Just want to say in advance thanks for all the great and helpful posts in this forum. It's really been helpful

P.s. I'm not new to restorations. I've restored a few motorcycles and cars in my time. Current toys are a 70 SS 396 El Camino, 75 HONDA 400F SS. 82 HONDA250R ATC.
