New CHP website

You would think that a place that has restoration parts would be able to come up with a decent bike pic OF THEIR OWN.

Not sure they're trying very hard to "liquidate" their collection ... those bikes have been advertised on their website for a long time, at those steep prices. I've been to CHP several times (they worked on my '93 CT70) and they do have some beautiful bikes - those pictures don't lie. I would love to buy one of the "twins" if they would split them up and make a deal.

I think he is selling(or trying harder) because the market has taken a turn and Texas economy won't be far behind with these oil prices. He tried to set the market paying those high prices off Ebay and BOOM,along came Obama's economy and low oil prices.

I hope it's not a sign of the end, they have been very helpful to many of us trying to restore our bikes.
I know I have slowed down on ordering from them simply because the exchange rate is killing me , driving prices sky high.

I figured someone here hiding in the shadows would let CHP know about my pictures. Well, they've since updated the HK0 picture but, can you let them know that the HK1 picture is mine too. Thanks!

If it's such a big deal why don't you just call Lyle up and speak to him directly. He's a good guy easy to talk to, knowledgeable, very helpful, and professional.

Seems like anytime the letters CHP come up on this board you take a run at them. You mention folks hiding in the corner - seems to me like you're the one "hiding" behind the walls of this forum throwing turds at CHP any chance you get.

Honestly - just calling it the way I see it.

I figured you would have something to say. I have spoken to Lyle, via e-mail, in the past and he denied it, called me a liar, and when proven wrong, than pointed the blame elsewhere. I don't mind him using my motorcycle images, I'd just prefer he admit it and not lie about it.

I can assure you, if I lived closer and had the time, I would have already stopped by personally and had a conversation with him.

You have had a long and bitter battle with you would you have told the story over and over again for the last 5 years I think everybody on the form has heard it and yet you continue to bring it up every chance you get instead of just being proud that he chose your photos or the web designer chose your photos you have chosen to jab CHP every chance you get on the forum maybe this has something to do with the reason he will not sell to you anymore how about if you just take the high road and not bring up the subject again I think everyone would appreciate that

HG has spent a lot of time & money in restoring his motorbikes, and we all agree there is a HG standard. I would be pretty unhappy if somebody would use my work to sell their products via their website.

When the tables are turned the big company's come at you with both barrels.:45:

.....and we all agree there is a HG standard......

When the tables are turned the big company's come at you with both barrels.:45:

1. I wish my bikes looked like HG's.
2. Reverse the barrels with reviews. C'mon, if it was you getting screwed....... how would you feel????

I've seen the pics of HG's bike's and they are etched into my brain. I EASILY recognize his bikes when I see them elsewhere.
