I have been reading that the mounting bracket on the frame of the silver tag may differ from the bracket on the later K1's, could anyone confirm that?, not sure if the TL mount changed??. Anyway, the vendor reached out to me on a Saturday😳 and said they would make it right, said they have had a few that were designed wrong, sending me a new one, can't ask for better service than that, even said they would test fit on a silver tag before shipping.

The taillight bracket design changed before they switched over to black tags. So silvertag k1 have both style of mount.

Even though the frame bracket changed from the L to the ski jump style the tail light/licence plate bracket was the same on all K1's. Your vendors supplier just got it wrong. Here is what an oem one looks like -

Bought a 2nd over piston kit from tbparts, went by the boring shop, didn't realize his machine wouldn't bore that small, he said take it to machine shop and cut it down within .002, then he would hone the rest, is this how most bore the 50's?

Yup, was laughing at the COD also. I used to have to stay home all day waiting for the ups guy after getting a notice usually bringing goodies from the Big 4 catalogue. Like a new rear Yokohama super digger knobby tire or the Bell moto III helmet, back then.

Been waiting on my cylinder to get back, couldn't stand the wait, I will pull the front tire when I install top end. Still have some things to button up but I'm getting there, there is a couple of China parts on it, not a show stopper but a nice looker, again, thanks for all the help.

My last few parts will be delivered tomorrow from CHP, brake cables, intake heat deflector, header pipe and stinger. Thanks for the help and parts from the group, going to step away from the Honda's for a bit, time to build the H1 500.
