Oil change question.

There are 2 bolts on bottom of my motor I know the plug to remove for draining my oil but what is the smaller one next to it it near the clutch.

The angled bolt on the stator side is the cam chain tensioner rod and spring, as seen in the right side of this diagram, just to give you an idea. Your engine may have slightly different parts, but is essentially the same.

It’s a 1/2 inch away.

Cam chain tensioner bolt don't touch it, parts will fly out. There is a spring or ''springs'' and a piston inside.
