all you have to do is take the drain plug out (on the bottom of the engine in the center) and wait for it to drain. better if the engine is hot, it will drain faster. when the draining is done, put the plug back in and fill it with oil (my clone holds 20 oz)

Remember, there is a 50:50 chance (most newbies seem to take the wrong one lately) to loosen the capnut of the camchain tensioner instead. The oil plug is on the right side of the engine :16:

my oil plug is in the center of my engine... no capnuts on the bottom of my engine.

sorry for sounding like a noob... most engine guards that i am familiar with are usually on side of frame....

the engine guard.. is that the black metal sheet below engine??

There should be some opening in that black metal sheet underneath the engine to access the oil drain plug. If there is not, then yes, you will have to remove the entire piece to get at it.

yeah.. i checked.. there is not.. what a pain.. i guess after i remove the sheet, maybe i should make some holes to make it easier to access the oil drain plug..
