I'd suggest you go with Rotella T4 15W-40. Cheap at walmart and good to go with wet clutches. Also make sure you are not using ethanol. While it will seem to run fine, you will eventually have to get used to cleaning up your carburetor every year and in the long term it will be destroyed. Most every place has sources for non-ethanol fuel.

So I got the socket and took everything apart. I took out that screw and put a little blue loctite on it. Since I had the clutch out I figured I'd replaced the friction plates as well. Everything went back together just fine. Fired right up and I was able to shift into first with no issue, the clutch was working fine. However it wouldn't shift into 2nd at all, just stuck in 1st, and would even slip out from time to time. So I drained the oil and took it apart again. What I found was the shift star wasn't going all the way into 1st, it would get stuck about half way. I took the shift star plate out and put it back in making sure it was properly seated. I tried shifting through the gears and it would run through them but get stuck half way into 4th. Going back to 1st it would get stuck and I'd have to press the shift lever again. So I took the screw out again and reset it...then it was back to getting stuck at 1st. One more shot tightening the shit star down and now it's running through them and and back with no issue. So I'm not sure if I still have a problem or it just took that that many times to get everything right. I don't want to put it all back together if there is still an issue. I've attached a few videos of what was going on. Like I said right now it's running through the gears just fine. Should I call it good and put it back together or is there something else I should check into before I do that.
