Here is another minitrail I have had stored. This ones in more pieces then anything.. this was the original Z50 minitrail I started on. This ones been stored for probably close to 20 years now give or take. I have some photos of me on it in the year 2000. That's 18 years ago.
The thing with this bike is id really like to get it back to it's glory. Problem is Looks like most of the key items are missing. I layed out a few things and would need lots of donor parts which are becoming extra hard to come by or obtain.
This bike looks like it's in sad shape but it obviously holds a special place in me if I have held on to it for this long. Year's ago I did start to perform some sanding and sand blasting to the bike. I can't remember which came first...hand sanding or sand blasting. Something happened..(lost interest) as I sealed up some of the frame with red primer and left some of it still blue. Unfortunately the frame is cracked pretty good in 2 spots and have been after a blue frame in good shape for some time. Long story short I got waffled on the bike by a quad and that ended them days,on top of it locked up on me and I took engine to a shop any never got it back...wonder why..
The bike got lots of use. My dad thought hiding the key to the bike would work and it did not. He had to hide the gas can. Couldn't get me off it.
Here are a few photos, doesn't look, like much but brings back the memory for sure. Had to dig it out from a honda pile but I eventually rolled it out to get a better perspective of what I'm going to want to see.
