Sapphire Blue????

Hi all, This is my first post here, hope it's the right forum. Anyway, just got a CT-70H and its blue/green color. I am going to restore it, but I really want the Sapphire Blue. The Vin # is 100334. The buid date is worn off on the front plate, so, with that early of a vin, technically, it is a 1970 model (i think) and according to the link that identifies colors available, they show Sapphire blue being available in 1969-1970. I know i can paint it any color I want, I just don't want to hurt the value if I were to sell it later. Does anyone know if that blue was available on my vin # bike? Thanks, c

For the KO bikes, the saphire blue color was unique to the three speed models along with gold and ruby red, so in answer to your question, no, saphire blue was not available with your VIN. The H models (4 speeds) came in emerald green and the teal blue you have. For what its worth, the 4 speeds are considered more desireable and seem to bring more money on resale. I personally really like the teal blue color. Congrats on the bike and have fun!

The technical color is Candy Blue/Green. It's a beautiful color..

Saphire blue?

My vote is for the candy blue/ green. It's blue w/ headlights on it at night and green out in the sun. I've kept mine original. Did the wheels though. There are a few of these around, but not many.

That's the next bike I will own is the Candy Blue/Green 4 speed model. That color is off the Chart!!!

I have the same bike and same color. I too just purchased it and going to restore it, does any one have a paint code for that color? I do love it, my problem is the old owner painted the bike tan and also the badge.

Candy blue/ green

I have the code written down somewhere. It doesn't do much good. It can be had pretty easy on the internet. Several places to get it. You can find rattle cans @ DrATV. I thought they were a little high. Just GOOGLE Honda CT70 paint and look for candy blue/ green. You'll find the whole kit for about $130. I believe these guys have spent the time to match it well.
