SL90 -> CT90 engine mounts

I got a 68 SL90 and i want to swap the lifan 125 into it. The SL90 engine block is slightly different than the ct90. It has 3 mounting points. It looks like the bottom mount is in the same location and if i tap and drill a point into the frame about 2.5 inches back it should be the same 2 points as the ct90. Anyone have any experience swapping a sl and ct engine who can weigh in on why this won't work and is a terrible idea?

It's a great idea. I have a YX 140 in my CL90. You'll only be using two holes. I drilled and reinforced new holes in my frame, though it took a little butchering. But check out the Lifan into ST90 thread. I believe the ST90 and CL/S 90 frames have the same engine mounting holes. It's definately doable.
