Hase anyone hade trouble with this character?i wrote a thread asking for help.( i understand this is the reason for this website) in the thread i explained i left my bike on the side of the house and cylinder seems to have goten moisture inside ,now motor is hard to kick over but not froze , i also explained i didnt have money to be spending on a manual.This Character whom goes by the name of snooter responded ,telling me how stupid i was and i need to get a job or stop buying liquor and stop spending my money on lot lizards and buy a manual.Seems to me he must be real young or damn imature and needs to grow up.
for the record i worked for 2 companies all my life , i quit 1 for the outher.I was a foreman for the last 23 years . i recently got injured but not at work i live on the Colorado river ,waterfront property ,1 to 3 milion dollar homes.raising a famly of 4 so thats why money is tight.
So snooter take your coments and shove it.

Personally i wouldn't take offence, the problem with the internet is that its hard to convey emotion so you never know whether someone is actually being a prick or taking the piss. You will find some members are quite anal about pampering their ct's and would never get em wet or dirty. Hey, it takes all types, me i think they're made to be ridden(and ridden hard!), having a musuem piece that never gets ridden is the real crime as far as i'm concerned but thats just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions being like assholes, everyone has one. I personally dont know Snooter and my comments are just general observations of the site. Stick around, the entertainment and wealth of info far outway the odd unpleasant comment. As for not being able to afford a manual, go to the resources thread and just download one

Gentlemen, while I do agree with most of what's been written here, please don't let's escalate hostilities. More harm than good will come of it. Yes, I read that comment and thought it harsh for a public forum, especially in reply a new member with a scant handful of posts. On the other hand, the member in question has posted a lot of good material over a long period of time. Could be a simple case of something that "sounded" different (mentally) to the poster while he was writing it, a bad day, etc. IMO, better to at least give the guy the benefit of the doubt. One questionably-tempered post does not a pariah make.

To fishin4bass, please allow me to apologize for the gaffe, whatever the reason(s). This isn't a personal attack forum.

It wasn't meant in the literal sense, only for dramatic effect, what really singed my tail feathers was those who defended the comments. I know others who have offered a lot of good material over the long haul who have been banned for what I would consider a lot less offensive. This was a new member who was attacked or that's what appeared to happen anyway.
