st 90 forks

Will forks from a st90 be a direct swap to a 1974 ct 70? Are the axle diameters the same? Also if I swap them out will the fork ears still fit? Sorry for all the questions.

i think the axle is bigger by 2mm (diameter) on the st90. not sure though. i have my st90 in the garage but not my ct... otherwise i'd measure. i think the upper fork tubes are the same diameter. the fork ears would fit, in theory. the upper clamp is the deciding factor there. the spring on the ct70 is external, whereas it's internal on the st90 i think.

why would you want to do this swap, just curious?
