Stator Plate ID Help

Can anyone tell me what this stator plate/assy. is? I posted yesterday about my issues with a Hitachi flywheel and a Mitsu stator on a recent purchase CT70 HK0. I was also given a junk 3 speed engine, and this is a photo of that engine. Is this possibly a Hitachi stator for an H model someone installed at some point? I compared it to my good running K0 and that bike has a smooth stator plate under the Hitachi flywheel. This plate with the casting pockets looks like a Hitachi 4 speed plate comparing it to pictures I've found here. If that seems to be the case, I then think I will take the stator from the junk engine and install it on the HKO and that may solve the hard starting issues I think are caused by the Mitsu coils have too large of an air gap in conjunction with the Hitachi flywheel. Someone had been in this bike before me, scarfed up screw heads and RTV everywhere, so I dont know the story behind the mismatched parts.

What you have is an "H" style stator. It also appears to have the original OEM condenser, wiring, etc, and no one has tinkered with it. It could also be from a XL70, but would need to see a pic of the harness to know for sure. However, the coils are the same between a XL70 and a CT70H, but going from memory, the XL70 harness is longer than a H and does not have the bullet connector in the black lead.

Thank you, that's what I thought. I removed it today and put it in the H model motor that had the Hitachi Flywheel with the Mitsu stator. All good, no rubbing and the coil air gap is much better. Going to order the o-ring and crank seal now and hopefully it will run and start better. Not sure how the stator plate ened up on a 3 speed motor, but all is well. Thanks again for confirming it.
