[QUOTE="Coastal Redneck, post: 146738, member: 11287"] Weird to watch the news earlier and see all those wrecks in the snow & ice back east, when inland areas here are setting heat records in the low 90s... in February, no less. Boy, this climate change really is bizarre, but I might as well enjoy this dry heat while I'm still here, I'll be leaving this state soon enough and the only thing I'll miss (besides family) will be the weather. I damned sure won't miss the freakin' crowds I saw today. Seeing those wrecks on TV made me wonder how I ever made it through all that snow & ice so many times without meeting disaster, LOL. I DID have a few close calls, sliding on ice and eventually recovering, but thankfully I never wrecked the truck or killed anyone. People today just drive too damned fast for conditions. This must be part of growing old, this unfulfilled wish for everything and everyone to just slow down, 10-4? Another reason why I only ride my monkeybike in the dirt... probably wouldn't last five minutes on the road, with all these fooliots driving every which way at 100 miles per hour (no signals). Get greased like a bug on a bumper, riding that little monkeybike, LOL. Damn.
