Haven't forgotten y'all, been busy rehabbing a double-wide I bought in southeastern Arizona... long story, never did find a decent fixer in my price range in WA, got caught up in the steel building scam and finally grew tired of the rainy weather, so I dragged all my cr@p back to Arizona and bought this home with a killer view of the Dragoon Mountains. That was a tough gig, camping in subfreezing weather under Cochise Stronghold, but I had plenty of alcohol, a truckload of firewood, and a million-dollar view of the Stronghold... I'll post some primo shots next time I'm on the web. The kittehs survived the coyotes and they're now happily exploring their new home... snowed last night, but this AZ sunshine can't be beat, I'll never leave it again. I'm at 3500' elevation this time around, but I'm free & clear on the home and I've got money left to rehab the place to my standards. Got a huge room up front for the pool table, I'll paint that in the next day or two to get some motivation, LOL. Gonna be a painting fool for 3 or 4 weeks, gotta get that done before putting in new carpet and vinyl flooring. Not my favorite task on the planet, but meh, it'll look good once I'm done, and the view from the windows is awesome... CHEERS, YOUSE KNUCKLEHAIDS!!! I'LL DRINK A BEER FOR YA WHEN I GET BACK TO MY HOME... I'M ON A SHOPPING RUN IN TOWN.
