both bikes have some good points but i must say i like the trail buddy much better.

talk to Ron at trail buddy he may cut you a deal. i found my receipt and i paid $1375 for the basic 125cc trail Buddy pro.
the $375 for the trail package it is Worth it to me i was going to do every thing that they included in the package but the power plug for a GPS that i didn't install and most likely will not install.

the hooper imports bike cost me $1250 for the 110cc auto clutch
then i spent a around $200 making it like the wife wanted it.

both gave me free shipping to the local trucking co. the trail buddy arrived in 2 days the trail rider arrived in 1 week.

if you have never put a bike together from a crate i suggest you get help.
its not that hard but its easy to miss something important when assembling it.

Nice!!!

What Size and brand tires are you running on the red one?

120/90-10 same tire as the black one. Michelin reggae's.
that's as big as you can go with out them hitting the swing arm.

i got them form my local Kawasaki dealer they had to order them for me. the price was not bad i spent $84 both tires and tubes.

the mirrors on the red one are form my KLR 650 i broke the stock ones that were chrome. the tag is bent and i had to glue a few reflectors back on it.
i wonder why she will not let me ride it any more?

i had to also redo the fuel lines on it, they leak and and were to long the fuel filter started leaking today so that will be replaced ASAP. the fuel tank rattled around a lot so i had to brace it with some rubber padding.
the red one needed a lot of modifications to make it what it is "a easy to ride bike for the wife" the $200 i spent on modifications on it includes dermal tool/bits, rubber parts, nylon bushings for the fenders, and a few screws/bolts and a tube of lock tight. its hard to not like either one after you spend some time modify them.

the black 125cc trail buddy one i have not had to do much to it yet but let me crash it a few times. i love the power the 125 has it can lift the front wheel in 2nd gear "clutch it up in 2nd and first gear it will lift the front wheel with just the throttle" it rips the lawn up nicely in first. the black one didn't have a fuel filter so ill be adding one ASAP.

after i get the MSO ill tag it then take it for a long ride to see how it performs and holds up.

Ok i got the parts in form trail buddy today with the MSO everything checks out on the MSO ill get the wife to pay the taxes on it tomorrow and then Monday ill get a tag on it.

the handlebar bolts worked fine the old one looks to be the same quality and color so i only replaced the one, Ron sent me a set of 2.
the sprocket he sent was a 15 tooth and a new clip. the clip helped the chattering problem out some so i went a head and changed to the 15 tooth anyway and it is much better. ill sacrifice a little top speed for mechanical reliability any day, besides i really don't need to run 55+ mph on a mini bike.
lining up the headlight lens was easy the lens is held in with 4 spring clips pop them out turn the lens and reinsert the clips.

ill call the insurance company some time this weekend and then ill post up on the cost. I'm thinking ill drop all my bikes to liability and theft.

also i installed a fuel filter between the petcock and carburetor. this bike has 2 fuel lines coming from the tank so it must have a reserve, i don't want to pull the tank just to find out.

i replaced fuel filter on the red bike and the fuel lines are much thinner "cheaper" hopefully that fixed the fuel leak. the red one only has one fuel line from the tank so no reserve. if it leaks again ill redo the fuel lines.

ok i paid the taxes and insured it.

tax was $21
insurance was $84 125cc clone

now this is a 3rd bike on the policy so its cheaper, ill include the other one's.
$124 for the 110cc ct70 clone
$157 for my KLR 650

I'm sure i can get it cheaper if i shopped around but i have had geico for over 20 years and I'm lazy.

the mso says motorcycle,
Make - EASY and Model PT-125cc.

ill tag it Monday

Me and the wife went for a Little ride with the clones today, out in the Forest service roads. we lodged just over 23 miles.

both bikes held up good. i had to do some adjusting on the 110's chain.
the 125 still has some chattering sounds coming from the front sprocket area its not that bad. i only hit 43 mph on the gravel roads, the wife would not go over 30 mph she is still learning how to ride the clone.

I'm convinced the 125 has no fork oil in it at all and the wife cant really tell if the 110 has any or not she was more concerned with the shifter and not being able to shift correctly until i adjusted it.

the trail buddy rear shocks were nice and preformed much better than the spring things on the 110.
it looks like i used up a Little less than half a tank of gas so I'm thinking I'm getting around 50 to 60 mpg or so trail riding.

I'm still happy with both clones and even more so now that i/we had a chance to actually take them for a decent ride. :D
