What ct 70 "H" really means

When they first came along it could have been Cheap Toy. (That's cheap as in low priced, not as in low quality.)

Then, 35 years later, a bunch of adult kids started playing with them pretty seriously. Now, for me at least, CT stands for Constant Tinkering. :)

You might be confusing the XLs with the XRs. The XRs were pure dirt bikes (well, there was the XR650L, but it was really an XL no matter what Honda said. :)) and the XLs had the same engines as the XRs, tho' usually in a milder state of tune, and mooshier (and cheaper) suspension. My current off road weapon is a '98 XR400R. It's not perfect, but it's paid for and it doesn't have the "50-100 hours between rebuilds" requirement of most of the new off road bikes. Yeah, I'm sticking with my good old underpowered, but lasts forever, XR.
