Ok, thanks I appreciate that. Now I know.
I figure that to make it somewhat original I need the exact year and hk1 modelThose rear shocks just look to be off a later model, just need to switch the caps from chrome to yellow if the bodies are good
X2 here.73 or K2.
Am I correct in saying this?I figure that to make it somewhat original I need the exact year and hk1 model
I just ordered the key yesterday, thanks.Shouldn't need to be just Hk1, K1 auto's forks or rear shocks should work also. Also if you need a key, on the face of it should be a 5 digit code starting with a H. You can type that number into ebay and either buy a honda key or have a aftermarket one made usually for around $10-$15. Just make sure yours isn't broke off in the hole and make sure you can't turn it with a screw driver before you buy one.
Are you sure About the exhaust?Hi Monstar, The front forks are 1973 and newer. The fork ears are 1973. The handle bars are from an early 1974 (mirror mounts on both sides). The left side badge is from 1971 4 speed. Right side could be original 72 H but too faded to tell. Exhaust is 77 and newer.
Have you checked your frame and engine numbers to see if they match? What does your speedometer look like? Photo?
