Bikes That Aren't Worth A Look

Nice catch! Looks like it got 14 miles on it after being sold. The eBay seller does a good job hiding the chips/scraps and other flaws on the bike taking the photos in the bright light. Such a shame that unknowing buyers are being screwed.

Silvertag Dax 4speed. This thing is in bad shape, but I do see a few good parts. I bet the engine is locked bad. Beyond my skill level and budget for sure.lol. I bet this one is a rare bird though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CT-/2...337990f0:g:3BMAAOSwOgdYphFX&item=262856610032

Barn find. Don't know much about it. I believe it is a 1969, 70 or 71. hasn't run since I've owned it. Not a motorcycle guy so cant tell you anything about condition beyond what the photos say. odometer reads 1,359. I do not have a title for the bike.

Full payment due within 7 days of auction ending.

On Feb-19-17 at 11:53:02 PST, seller added the following information:

Per a fellow ebayer, this bike is an early 1969 Silver Tag. Additonal info i was told to find is a stamp behind the shifter. That stamp reads CT 70E-(cant tell if there is one more digit or not)
Number below that reads 10233 ( cant tell if there is one more digit or not)

On Feb-24-17 at 16:20:28 PST, seller added the following information:

if need be, after winning bidder pays, i can continue to store this bike in my shop for several weeks while you arrange pick up.

Lolol.
Good find CJ.
That post is a classic already.

Oh...I see... It's being sold as art. I spose $1500 is a bargain for a piece that was 20 years in the making.

"The Tree Bike as seen at 2016 BB &BBQ Honda Super Cub70 With tree growing though it. Will make a great one of a kind conversation piece .only 1500.00 cash call or text four79 two82 five851"

I'm imagining seeing that going down the freeway on one of those tree transplanter trucks...on it's way to my house...lol.

Wifey's gonna love mowing around that thing.

Naa...I'll just sell off one of these crappy bikes that I have here that DON'T have a tree growing thru them. To fund the "live art" project. I already have a spot picked out to plant it. Right between the bent handlebar sculpture, and the, crunchy Trailwing tire, tomato pots :--)

They do, indeed, look like classic examples of that...and proof of how one becomes known by the company they keep. Your famous thread title comes to mind, here...only with your stuff, the emphasis was on "too much". But these roached-out Thalidomide victims are most accurately described by the third word of your thread title. :poop:

This HK1 would be a great candidate for a color change for shure right after the 4th of July parade.
I saw those trash haulers at the fall moultrie ga. swap meet and they where like a bad wreck, I didn't want to look but I had to. Just sad

I've been looking for a bike to send to Bob(racerx) to challenge his resto skills.....and I think this would be an excellent candidate. I see telltale signs in the front of being ran over by a truck, but ONLY once.

Now remember Bob, this has to be a 100point concours resto and I need it back in 2 weeks!!! Don't worry, I'll take care of the title.
