When lots go bad.
This house is very similar to mine, and its on the corner like mine but they put a house right behind his backyard! That area behind my house will be a lil foot park, its too small for a house. Amazes me how they squeeze shit in there.
Took my first ride since last one ended up in a dual with the dirt... I did a speed Run this morning and hit 42 MPH!, pretty good but the front trail tire is piece O crap, i have no confidence in that Taiwan tire. Can't wait for my street set up to be installed.
Saw the doc yesterday, he took an x-ray but I don't get the results until next week! LOL. Said I should have gone to urgent care right away but a xray & doc opinion would of sent a big Bill my way. I'm betting its a simple fracture of one rib aka a boobo. I'll know either way but the xray tech asked me what happened after she looked at my xray, then the other supervisor said they cant comment on it, the doctors have to.
The frustration with the bureaucracy of the medical system is beyond the scope of this forum. F'ing doctors & lawyers, dont get me started...
Got the rims on the wait for some real triple digit weather but still on the heat..

It's not the doctors. It's driven by a litigious society, mostly bottom feeder lawyers. Techs, nurses, etc. cannot give medical opinions where doctors are required, as they open themselves up to liability lawyers. Ever wonder why medical malpractice insurance is such a big bite of doctors income? Just look at the bottom feeders.

Not just the lawyers...lets not shortchange the pharmaceutical industry, hedge funds, exec boards and the almighty "shareholder equity"...credit where credit is due. As for patients...we've become a minor annoyance. The actual workers ((doctors, nurses, PAs etc) answer to corporations.

Good day to Paint! 
Went ahead and wet sand the rims with 600 grit. Soak the paper first! You want to be careful not to sand through the primer paint! Wet sanding preps the surface for the next coat and leaves a smooth as glass finish.
After that i applied a coat of the paint color Rustolium Primer. These are the primer coats for the color coats.
We are scheduled for a heat warning on Wednesday, so that's the day I want to shoot the Rims Aluminum Color!
So far so good the paint seems to be adhering to the Aluminum metal.
Heat and a zero degree Dew point are very helpful with that.

Thanks guys, these are the rims I'll be running on my bike so we will see how it holds up! I think they'll be Ok. I haven't ordered the tires yet but got em' in the budget for this month....
Just to refresh the origin of the hubs i have on it now; those are the ones i rebuild with new bearings and painted the aluminum hubs exactly the same way I'm painting the rims now. Those held up great but this is my first Al 'Rim-Job' lol. Will see how it does during tire installation as OC mentioned but that's what i love about old school enamel, its so forgiving and easy to feather in a quick spot repair!

Here's the latest on the rim-job. I wet sanded once more, and then shot Color!
Wow this paint sucks and has no metallic particles in it at all. I'm gonna get have to find something that is a better match to the 'Cloud Silver'.
Here's what it looks like now, I didn't bother to paint the other rim. Need better looking paint. Hard to see in the pics but it has no metallic. The color is alright but i need my metallic!

IDK, Adam, on my screen, that looks like very good match for the "Cloud Silver" used on the 1970s era bikes. It had no discernible metal-flake, either.
If you want something that's closer to the later CS, or the silver used on most Chinese engine cases, go for Duplicolor ...HP101 silver, as I recall, with hwp103 clearcoat.

Thanks guys, i think your on to something. it seemed a little bright & tinny to me but...
After taking the 10 mile trek to McDonalds, on my way back was thinking, nobody's gonna notice any fine metallic details unless they really looked! Guess I'll shoot the other rim the same tomorrow.
*Was able to shoot the other rim today, hopefully just under the 90F temp, it came out pretty good.

I found these: Kenda K413 110/70-12 47J Tires for 33 bucks each. Good price, free ship, so I nabbed em'.
They are tubeless tires so I need to get a couple O'valve stems. I guess it would be a good idea to measure the valve stem hole in my rims, but my calipers, are awol missing, somewhere packed still.
I'm wondering are motorcycle valve stems a standard size? Would Something like this would work?
