Ironically, I dropped my Hazardous endorsement years ago as part of the chess match between yours truly & the corrupt p.o.s. D.A. out in Dago. At the time, the evil bi-yatch & her crooked minions were attempting to portray me as some crazy, firearm-wielding psychotic truck driver, while the Feds were cracking on suspected terrorists using trucks as bombs and whatnot... I was through hauling hazardous waste for that one outfit, that job went south with the rest of the industry, so I simply dropped the endorsement to make sure I stayed off the Feds' radar. I don't expect anybody here to understand why I did this: you have to face round after round of false charges cooked up by crooked badge-sportin' greaseballs & a scrub queen D.A. before ya can possibly get a clue. And that's not said in an offensive manner, that's just the way it is. I can reapply for the Hazardous endorsement, but I probably won't, not after all that has happened during the long unwanted ordeal. Most trucking companies won't get past the fake felony anyway, so my trucking days may indeed be done, even at a local level.
I might run across some company that can see through all the bull$h!t and recognize the level of experience I have, but I'm not holding my breath... most companies want "recent experience" and, due to the long ordeal, that is something I don't have. I'm more concerned with finding other forms of employment once I relocate, as my luck has not been good here in Mormon Country. In the future, Mormons will be outnumbered by all the "gentiles" & "political refugees" streaming out of Kalifornia, but I arrived a bit too soon for that eventual certainty to help me. For now, the Mormon Factor is indeed a drag upon my search for employment... the sooner I relocate, the better, I reckon. I came here with good intentions, and I've tried to make it all work, but the fact remains that it is NOT working, and neither am I... much of that has to do with my age and the fake felony out of Kalifornia, but the Mormon Factor has also played a part, and not a good part in terms of helping me establish myself.
And now I have this bull$h!t charge to shoot down, which I regard as my cosmic cue to depart & relocate ASAP, I don't wanna go through the same long ordeal I went through in Kalifornia, getting harassed by badge bullies at every turn. Did I tell ya that this bogus citation was written eight days after the so-called "endangerment" occurred??? Eight f#%ng days, that has to be some sort of record... all it really means is that some SCUMBAG has decided to put me back on greaseball cop radar, probably because the SCUMBAG got wind of the fake felony charge in Kalifornia. That's how these badge bullies operate... I've unwillingly seen too much of it already, 10-4? Meh, we'll see what happens this week, hopefully it all goes away and I can get on with the business of relocation. That means listing the house, packing up my stuff, and making plans to load the rental truck right before I vacate the premises. Juggling the cats won't be easy, but if I go to Oklahoma as I probably will, it'll be a straight shot made in one day, no problem.
The thought of going to the "Tar Heel" is somewhat attractive, particularly with the ocean there off the Inner & Outer Banks (I was wrong to call the Inner Banks the "Eastern Shore"---that's a phrase used in Maryland), but I gotta look at the big picture, ya know? I was checking demographics for some of the towns in NC where I can afford to buy a home, and the fact is that the sun sets early in those parts, if ya gets my drift. Of course, I'll be labeled a "racist" for even mentioning this fact, but WTF, I'm a conservative white male, I'M GONNA BE LABELED A "RACIST" NO MATTER WHAT I DO. Flyin' the Confederate Battle Flag in front of my home probably won't help matters, LOL. Sheeee-it, I'll be dodging bullets the whole time I'm there... but I was thinking more of the HIRING SITUATION, I reckon I'll be better off among a crowd of white folk & business owners, AYE??? It's hard enough to get past the fake felony millstone hangin' round my neck, not to mention that I was born when dinosaurs roamed the f#%ng earth...
And as far as boating goes, well, I've done more saltwater sailing than most folks will ever do in their lifetimes, and those lakes in eastern Oklahoma are cool, I remember driving past 'em and thinking to myself, "PRETTY NICE, A HAND COULD HAVE SOME FUN OUT THERE!!!" And there's also the age factor: as one gets older, it's okay to downsize, even where recreational venues are concerned. I'm not the man I was at 20 or 30, thrashing to windward across the ocean on my way to the islands... that's some tough sailing there, especially in a seaway, with spray flyin' and plenty of hiking out to be done. Now that I'm older, I'm thinking of turning to power anyway, twisting a throttle is a whole lot easier than hiking out all day, believe me... I say that because any boat I buy will be a small skiff (or even an inflatable) with an eggbeater mounted on the transom. My friend Wade used to have a small but sturdy inflatable with an eggbeater, and we actually went freeboarding behind that boat, being towed astern while riding a small surfboard like a "Rocket Fish."
Well, who knows? I may break down and buy a small sailboat, but I'm leaning toward power at this time, since power craft are more suitable for lakes & rivers. The important thing is to just get out there on the water, where one can still experience some freedom and have some fun. I'm the kinda guy who takes lunch with me whenever I set sail, not to mention a cooler with some ice-cold beers, LOL. A wide-brimmed hat or billed cap & polarized shades are essential, plus I like having a long-sleeved shirt and baggy pants available in case the solar abuse ramps up and I start looking like a Maine lobster. Nautical footgear is a given, solely for safety's sake, and I still have the best in my closet, along with a wetsuit, vest and sailing gloves. Didn't let those go when I sold the Minifish, thought I might need 'em if I wound up buying a PWC. Not sure I'll do that, as PWCs tend to be pricier than small skiffs with eggbeaters, AYE??? I have nothing against skiffs or small runabouts, they're easy to handle and one can still have plenty o' fun.
ANYWAY, THANKS FOR THE TIPS, I EXPECT I'LL BE HEADING FOR "THE SOONER" BEFORE TOO LONG, AND IF I DO IT'LL CERTAINLY BE TO THE LAKE COUNTRY... NOTHING WRONG WITH BOATING ON A LARGE LAKE, AND THE GOOD NEWS IS THERE ARE NO SHARKS, LOL.
THOSE PESKY TWO-TON GREAT WHITES CAN PUT A BIG-TIME DAMPER ON YOUR SALTWATER SAILING PLANS ABOARD A RACING DINGHY, AYE???
