yes the blue one and the gold one are his personal bikes, I gave them to him for his sons back in the '80's. I got them when I worked part-time at cycle city in taylor. I might have a blue CT 70 at my cousins ( if he didn't get rid of it ) I left it there so the kids would have something to ride. JW riding his blue CT 70, yes he needs some handlebars too :)

He's a big ol boy on that little Honda.

Well, if it's OK with him, I'd like to send a little good juju his way...hook him up with a proper footbar for freebies. I just ask that he pay it forward when the opportunity strikes. He don't look to me like he's hurtin for money, but I'm bettin he'll appreciate the gesture, and be inspired to share some good fortune.
If he's good with that, pm the shipping info and I'll get it packed up.

I think that would work. I'll most likely be working all weekend, so it'll have to be after 3:30 or so. But...you don't have to drive, unless you want to. I'm offering to spring for the shipping also.

I try to get JW out for a ride on his big bike a couple times every summer, this would be a nice day ride for him

Sounds good. I'll look forward to a visit. But I do have to say...
Please don't be offended if I'm wearing a mask etc. We try hard to play it safe at my house. Covid 19 is currently about the stupidest way I can think of to kill myself. That's not the story I want to leave behind when I'm gone...hopefully many years from now :)

Thanks to kirrbby, got this beat up K3 more rideable for my GF. She had knee replacement awhile back and wants to ride again. Unfortunately, the factory shifter was to hard for her to lift up and caused her pain. The custom seat is barely adequate and a little hard on her back/butt. Thanks to kirrbby, it now has a heel/toe shifter and he got me the hinge parts to put a factory seat back on it. The original had been torn of and was MIA. My mom made the elastic denim cover for it for her for Christmas. The footpeg bracket was so bent up, I had to get a cheater pipe to bend it back down so the shifter could work properly.lol. After pulling the seat my brother made for it, I discovered the wiring harness is still there. Rectifier is missing, but the flasher and the rest is there. Tail connectors are really sad looking though. Anyway, my GF, Susan, sat on the bike and said, " This feels ALOT better!!!". She also wanted me to say to kirrbby, "Thank You.".

CJ, you can tell that fine lady that I'm very happy that I could help. Think I have her covered on the HL TL too.
She IS a very fine lady.lol. Anyway, the HL and Tl will help greatly with getting the nightime roadworthyness going. Last time we were riding, she stuck very close to me when it started getting dark. She later told me she wanted the headlight at night. Thanks kirrbby.
