And currently...this is where I am with the project. I am now waiting on parts to come in. I’ll post some more when they come in.

Has anyone had to do this? It seems that my aftermarket swingarm is wider than the original. I had to shim the shocks out on the top mount. Is this right, or should I take the spacers out???

Those look to be <½" I think you should leave them in there.
Using all aftermarket parts, you're gonna be fudgin quite a bit as you progress with your build. There's no book to follow...you, are makin all the rules.

If that swingarm bolt is aftermarket china, replace it with OEM. I've had those aftermarket one's break before. Ended up replacing with a used OEM.

It is an OEM bolt, at least that is what the sellers description said. I got it from Phat MX. Thanks for the warning though.

I have a stock length aluminum swingarm along with those same or at least very similar shocks. I didn't have to shim them nearly as much, but I did use 2 flat washers on the inboard side.
Two other things... are the top mounts loose on the frame stud? I had to use 10-12mm bushings to take up that slop.

And, did your swingarm come with any other hardware? The lower bolt on the left side may end up not clearing the sprocket, or at least the chain. Mine came with a special bolt for that side with a slim head. I'm running a 32t sprocket.

Hey, thanks for the info. When I first put the shocks on, they were leaned in at the top. So I just measured the bottom (I think 7 1/2 inches). But don’t quote me on that, I’m not in my shop right now. And I bushed out the top to match the bottom. The shocks I bought came with two different size bushings. One to fit the 10mm bolt on the bottom and one to fit the stock top mount. But it didn’t come with a special bolt for the left side. I guess if it presents a problem, I’ll probably take a grinder to the bolt head to make a little clearance. One thing that is worth mentioning, the bottom bolts that came with the Swingarm are a 10mm-1.50 pitch. And the top mount threads are a 10mm-1.25 pitch. So make sure to get the right acorn nuts. I galled up one side of my top mount.

I just remembered something OLD CT has said before about upgrading the power of these bikes. You need to put locktight on the wheel assembly bolts. They are prone to coming loose. I would put that locktight on the whole rear suspension with this bike.lol

Question for anyone that may know. I ordered a 18T front sprocket and a 33T rear sprocket. They haven’t came in yet, and I’m a long way from finishing the bike. But...what kind of speeds can I expect with my Daytona 190, these sprockets and larger tires. I’m hoping I can cruise at Hwy speeds without having the motor tached up too high. But that may be too much to ask for. Any thoughts?
