Ok I’ll have to get some new feeler gauges. What brand do you recommend? I have another set but they are not curved. I guess I can make do with them but they are from harbor freightIt looks to me like it's a .008 inches. Should be .002" or .05mm
Suzuki or Kawi I believe offered a square drive thumb screw tappet holder I remember from my days at those dealerships, but here is a simple hack from the trade I've used for years. It's as simple as a "black robertson" screw head. It's a little sloppy on the tappet screw, but it's an easier way to hold it and lock down the 9mm jam nut.Is there a special tool to use to adjust the valves? I have feeler gauges for the actual adjustment part of it. The last time I did this I used small needle nose pliers on the square nut. I’m trying to find an easier way
Both are set the same?0.002
Lol. Sorry, but they're not for sale. I still work as a full-time tech. Now that I found them buried in my box I will use them. What do you want for those?
