Only way to know IF that frame is repairable, or an "organ donor" is to see it firsthand. That could be a ham-fisted dent repair...or buckled just as everyone expects. I've seen a couple of frames that were totalled by supercross type riding. The entire structure surrounding the lower hinge mount was distorted, caved-in along the horizontal surface, ballooned-out along the vertical surfaces. Here's the head-scratcher...the deformation was symmetrical, on both sides. The money question: why is only the RH side, of this one, affected? The seat doesn't appear to sit abnormally low at the front.
Even if this sad-assed example is repairable, that task would be a mutha...suitable only for someone with serious body repair skills, who also wants a challenge and an album of good war photos to show after it's done. Only way I'd buy this thing is for $150, tops...as parts, plus a lottery ticket chance the frame might be salvageable.
