This is a JH2 TR 82' and it looks pretty good but he frame is bent, right at the T section under the seat. Looks like someone went motocross jumping on it , what a shame. Maybe parting out the bike would be a better idea.

OUCH!!! That hurts just looking at it. A definite "Hold my beer and watch this...." moment. What a waste. Other than the warpage/bend/dent, the rest looks to be in decent shape.

7 beans for that thing too… i bet whatever buckled the frame like that was a serious 'ouch'… like a herniated disk or broken tailbone… that's a hard hit for a minibike.

I just bet that racerx is going to post about how to fix that frame.lol. Come on Bob, you know you want to.
I would hate to do it, but I would strip every nut and bolt off that frame and "Modernize" a bare K0.

I know what I'd do with that bike & the engine! Here's my 81 frame, I have all the parts to it but the engine's blown & needs a rebuild.

Parts for the TR JH2 80's bike's fetch some doe these days. pS. I think the frame is totaled imo!

Only way to know IF that frame is repairable, or an "organ donor" is to see it firsthand. That could be a ham-fisted dent repair...or buckled just as everyone expects. I've seen a couple of frames that were totalled by supercross type riding. The entire structure surrounding the lower hinge mount was distorted, caved-in along the horizontal surface, ballooned-out along the vertical surfaces. Here's the head-scratcher...the deformation was symmetrical, on both sides. The money question: why is only the RH side, of this one, affected? The seat doesn't appear to sit abnormally low at the front.

Even if this sad-assed example is repairable, that task would be a mutha...suitable only for someone with serious body repair skills, who also wants a challenge and an album of good war photos to show after it's done. Only way I'd buy this thing is for $150, tops...as parts, plus a lottery ticket chance the frame might be salvageable.
