Is there a 6V to 12V regulator and/or rectifier available on the market to retain the 6V stator/flywheel but be able to use a 12V tail light bulb?
Yes, that looks like it'll do the job, thank you very much for the info and the source. I'll pass it along to a friend who isn't a member on here.Is this what your looking for?
Nice workA bit later, I just tried entering "6 volt led taillight bulbs" and got this : https://www.amazon.com/s?k=6+volt+led+tail+light+bulb&crid=1RA3Q2HV7UD2O&sprefix=6+volt+led+,aps,371&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_10_11
Notice many are not double contact .
Also, some mention " CANBUS " this means OPEN POLARITY ~ you can use in negative or positive ground systems = .
I recently recieved a bag of #194 dash bulbs (LED) that didn't mention this and i was well pleased when I tested them and discovered they're CANBUS .
My dash and warning lights are all now BRIILIANT even on the direct sunlight 🥰 .
