Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've been on the site but I ran into a question I just can't find an answer for. We have a 77' Z50 as well and it has a seperate rear hub, 2 pie plates rims, and a 3 bolt rear sprocket. With all the time on our hands with Covid-19 we decided to dig into our 72' K2 Z50 and get it going. I was taking apart the rear wheel and noticed the bolts for the sprocket were not metric, then I noticed the hub was seperated between the rims. Once side has the brakes and the other has the sprocket mount and they're built into the rims. I'm pretty sure this isn't how it cam as every scematic I look at has the same setup as our 77'.
Anybody ever seen anything like this before?
